Pastoral Theology as a Form of the Law of Lovein Public Spaces

This research is based on the fact that many Christians still have a lack of understanding and practice of Pastoral Theology, as evidenced by the limited number of Pastoral Theologies implemented by churches that have influenced public policies and social life. This research aims to demonstrate the role of Pastoral Theology in the public sphere by emphasizing love as the application of law and love in social life. Pastoral theology, rooted in Christian teachings about love, is not only the basis of church life but must also be translated into concrete actions in society. The law of love serves as a driving force for churches and individuals to be actively involved in solving social problems, fighting for justice, and building a more harmonious and inclusive life. This research aims to explore how Pastoral Theology can be applied in public policy, social services, and interactions between individuals in the public sphere. Through a library research approach, it is hoped that it will provide insight into how churches and Christian communities can contribute more to creating a society based on the principle of love. The findings of this research are expected to provide suggestions for the implementation of Pastoral Theology that is relevant to social challenges and the needs of today's society, especially in creating interfaith dialogue and advancing social justice.
